Spring Break is almost here! If your child will be missing any days prior to or after the official days of break (March 24-28) OR will be leaving school early on any day, please fill out the absence form on the PowerSchool Parent ASAP (we really appreciate those who have already communicated this to us) and know that you do not need to wait until the day of the absence to report it.
If you are reporting a FULL DAY absence, please make sure: - When filling out the form, click on "full day" absence.
- Complete the start and end date for the "full day" absence.
If you are reporting a "LATE ARRIVAL" or "EARLY DISMISSAL", please make sure: - When filling out the form, click on a "half day", NOT full day absence.
- Complete ONLY the start date of the late arrival or early dismissal (clicking the end date will result in the system changing to a full day absence).
- Enter the time for late arrival or early dismissal (this not only informs the office, but the classroom teacher too).
KINDLY NOTE: Students should NOT be receiving texts from parents about a pick up time as their phones are to be kept in their locker. Texting your student puts them in a difficult position because they will be given a minor for phone use during school hours. | | TMS online attendance reporting now takes place on the PowerSchool Parent Portal. You must know your Parent PowerSchool username and password to log in and report an absence for your child online. - To request your parent/guardian codes for PowerSchool, please fill out this form.
- Directions on the new reporting system can be located here.
- Still experiencing issues with your account, please email thomastech@sd25.org.
If needed, you may still call the TMS Attendance Line at 847-398-4260: press 1 and leave a message on the attendance line. However, due to the number of absences reported daily, we do prefer the PowerSchool method. If you need technical assistance, please email thomastech@sd25.org. Note: PowerSchool Attendance Reporting is only available using a web browser (Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, etc) and is not available on the app.
Thank you for your partnership in ensuring daily attendance and timely absence reporting! | | The TMS PTA has a lot to offer this year! We are excited for all the activities we have planned!
- MEETING: If you are interested in getting involved in the PTA or simply checking out a meeting @ 7:00pm in the TMS Library. Everyone is welcome! Our last meeting of the school year is:
- 2024-2025 Executive Board Members
- President: Kristen Dugan
- President-Elect: James Moncada
- Vice President: Sara Hess
